Our video will primarily be composed of narrative-based shots inter-spaced with performance sections. The narrative will follow the band on a night out as they steadily get drunk, and find the experience less than entirely enjoyable. There will be a few introductory shots similar to that of 'Gunga Din', without music. As the drunkenness sets in, we will introduce editing effects to reflect this visually.
Narrative structure
Exposition: A band member (possibly the singer) wakes up in bed, alarm clock showing 6:00 am. He gets up, groaning, and stumbles out of bed. It's clear he has a bad hangover.
Rising action: 8 or 9 hours earlier. The band members head into a pub, and start drinking. After getting completely drunk, the group stumbles out into the night.
Climax: In the street, the group encounters unconscious drunks and end up in a short drunken street fight with another man.
Falling action: After the fight is resolved, the group continues on their way. They split up, each heading to his own home, and we follow the singer(?) to his house.
Denoument: The singer (?) manages to clamber into his bed, and falls asleep. The final shot is of the alarm going off, at 6:00 am.
