Photoshoot

These are the photos taken on the photoshoot for the ancillary tasks. As mentioned in the planning posts, I wanted to get a mix of urban and more scenic backgrounds. The outfits are typical for late teens to wear. Of the photos I have chosen to go ahead with, I tried to create an interesting variety. There were two main locations for the shoot, around a local carpark and beside the town market. I tried to get both individual and group shots of the performers, and will try to balance these in the digipak. I have tried for some stereotypical poses, particularly with the singer, George, to keep the results similar to professional photos. The brick wall created a nice clean background, and I liked the poses Used, so I will definitely be using one of those shots in the digipak, as well as one or two of the shots overlooking the hills at the edge of the carpark. The scenery is quite impressive, and will be useful for adding a bit of colour to the digipak. The marketplace images of George provide a bit of contrast. I will probably use two shots focussing on Milo (bassist) to balance out these two of George. I think one of the portrait shots of the two walking with their backs to the camera would look good for the print advert.
